About Me

Hafa Adai,

My name is Girard Ibanez and I am a Field Representative for Ace Hobby, "Team Raptor" and Duralite Batteries, "Team Duralite".

I was born and raised on the Pacific Marianas Island of Guam.

Guam is located in the North Pacific Ocean, about three quarters of the way from Hawaii to the Philippines. Geographic coordinates: 13 28 N, 144 47 E.

Guam is approximately 30 miles long and 15 miles wide at its waist.

On April 2000, my family and I left Guam due to the Department of Defense (DOD) military down sizing and were relocated to Tucson, Arizona.

I have been involved in remote control aircrafts since 1989, flying both model airplanes and helicopters.

Throughout out those years, I have been involved assisting fellow modelers at the local level and through Internet Forum Bulletins.

Although I disappeared from this hobby in the early days for several years, my passion and enjoyment that RC Helicopters provided never died. I continue to fly RC Helicopters on a regular basis and can be seen at our local flying fields or at fun fly events.

This web page is dedicated to you, the RC Model Helicopter enthusiast. The web pages began on December 2005 and the domain name MyRaptor was officially registered on September 3, 2006.

Each of the web pages contain the date the article was written at the top left hand corner. The foot note also has a date which will reflect any changes to the individual web page.
